Are personal guarantees required?

Typically, yes. However, we may consider waiving personal guarantees on a case by case basis subject to:

  • quality of security offered
  • loan to value ratios
  • strength of repayment strategy
What types of securities do you accept?

All loans must be secured by Real Property (first or second ranking mortgage).  Acceptable Real Property security may include:

  • Residential property
  • Commercial property
  • Rural property
  • Industrial property
  • Vacant land

Please note that properties offered as security will be subject to credit assessment review.

What is the interest rate?

The applicable interest rate will depend on:

  • type of loan
  • purpose of the loan
  • amount borrowed
  • term of the loan
  • security
What types of loans are available?

Loans may be:

  1. Principal & interest
  2. Interest only
  3. Capitalised interest

The type of loan structure available may depend on the purpose of the loan, amount borrowed, term of the loan and security offered for the loan.

We do not currently offer progressively drawn loans.

Who can borrow?

Generally, we will consider applications from sole traders, partnerships, self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs) and companies.

We do not provide loans which are regulated by the National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCP).

Is the application fee refundable?

Up to 50% deposit of the application fee is payable upon acceptance of a loan application. This fee is paid into the Trustee’s account and held in trust pending an outcome.

If the Lender chooses not to proceed with an offer, the deposit paid is fully refundable.

However, where the Lender issues a Letter of Offer and the offer is not accepted by the Applicant, the deposit paid is not refundable.

Do you provide unsecured loans?

No. All loans must be secured by a mortgage (registered or unregistered) over suitable real property situated in Australia.

Is there a minimum or maximum loan term?

Generally, the minimum loan term is 3 months and the maximum loan term is 5 years, with an option to extend on a case by case basis.

How do I apply for a loan?

Please complete and return the Credit Application Form and the relevant Identification forms. It is important that you include all required supporting documentation so that we can pre-assess your application as soon as possible.

What fees are payable?

Fees payable include:

  • An application fee of which up to 50% deposit is payable upon acceptance of a loan application (fully refundable if the Lender chooses not to proceed with an offer) and the balance payable upon acceptance of Letter of Offer;
  • Legal fees for preparation of security documents payable directly to our legal advisor;
  • Independent valuation fees payable directly to the valuation firm of our choice;
  • Loan management fees;
  • Loan line fees ; and
  • Other fees (for example, discharge fees, renegotiation/extension fees etc)
How much can I borrow?

The minimum loan size is AUD$500,000 and the maximum loan size is AUD $10 million.

The amount that you can borrow is dependent on a range of factors, including serviceability of the loan interest, the exit strategy, the term of the loan and the value of the Real Property that is offered as security.
